Product details
Due to various circumstances, such as the portrayal of treatment errors in the media and the subsequent consequences, the topic of risk management in clinics and hospitals is increasingly being addressed. One tool for identifying incidents in patient care is the Critical Incident Reporting System (CIRS), which is already used by many hospitals. This book examines the extent to which CIRS is a suitable means for risk identification and the opportunities it offers. The risk management process is explained in detail, and the economic and legal framework conditions of risk management are discussed. Based on the findings, a recommendation for the implementation of CIRS in risk management is provided.
