This scientific work highlights the increasing importance of municipal health promotion through practical examples and scientific analyses. Additionally, initiatives that support the trend of municipal health promotion are presented and analyzed in depth. The public health service is also brought into focus. The study aims to illustrate the ideal typical action cycle in municipal health promotion and to shed light on its individual elements. This study will emphasize the significance of health conferences for municipal health promotion today and in the future. The instrument of the health conference is introduced and discussed in detail. Furthermore, a competency catalog for practice is developed. The analysis is rounded off with a reflection on the results.
