With the introduction of the 4th Financial Market Promotion Act in 2002, there has been a disclosure obligation for securities transactions conducted by executives with their company's securities. These Directors Dealings may be of interest to the capital market, as it is presumed that executives, due to their position in the company, can accurately assess future stock price developments. These fundamental considerations form the basis for this book. Martin H. Schmidt examines the extent to which executives can achieve disproportionate gains or avoid losses through the securities transactions they conduct with their company's shares.
