Joint living in old age holds a relatively high status in public discussion, yet it is still rarely implemented. Experts cite the lack of consumer advice regarding this housing option in old age as a reason for this. This raises the question of how consumer advice itself views its role in this matter and how it wishes to position itself. As part of this qualitative study, advisors from nine consumer advice centers were interviewed. The book provides an overview of the methodology and results of this investigation and subjects them to critical reflection.
