Climate change is one of the most important topics in the field of global change in 2009. Engaging with this subject area makes it clear that in Germany - especially after the publication of the Stern Review written by former World Bank Chief Economist Nicholas Stern in the fall of 2006 - the issue of climate change can no longer be overlooked in public discourse.
