This book presents a user-friendly, psychological profiling method for coaches in artistic gymnastics, aimed at assessing gymnasts in various psychological areas. In the first step, scientific findings are discussed to provide the theoretical background. This includes the presentation and explanation of sport-specific and gymnastics-specific tests, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages, and contextualizing them in relation to the problem addressed in the work. Building on the theoretical background, relevant dimensions for gymnastics are developed. Subsequently, a first version of the MST-Gym with 70 items is created. In the next step, the collected data is analyzed, unusable items are discarded, and a new version of the MST-Gym with 40 items is produced. At the same time, norms for significant groups are established, along with these norm tables.
