The performance and future of youth work in German football is a widely discussed topic. The international successes of Bundesliga clubs and the national team create high expectations for youth development. This book focuses on the topic of talent identification and talent promotion in football. A key emphasis is placed on the talent scouting of the Lower Saxony Football Association (NFV) and the German Football Association (DFB). Additionally, the author particularly addresses the DFB's concept of talent promotion. In order to continue playing an important role in international comparisons, the DFB has significantly modified its measures for promoting football talents in recent years.
