In the course of globalization, where the economy is increasingly interconnected, corporate policies have changed in most companies. In addition to their routine tasks, employees are now also taking on more project work - but what exactly is meant by a project? A project is a time-limited, relatively innovative, and risky task of varying complexity. Time-limited means that the project is designed to achieve a predefined goal and ends upon reaching that goal. The risk of a project arises inevitably from its relative innovation, as at the start of the project, none of the participants can predict whether unexpected problems will arise and what kind they will be. Projects should be viewed as holistic tasks. As such, they are complex, which affects the assessment of their feasibility, planning, and execution.
