Spiritual abuse occurs in many churches and organizations. Numerous reports from victims support this. It takes place within a spiritual environment and is often difficult to see through because it appears pious and is acted out in the name of God. However, this sensitive topic is rarely addressed officially. This book illustrates how to recognize the forms of spiritual abuse and the dynamics that may be behind it. It discusses whether there may be a certain predisposition on the part of the victims that can facilitate the abuse, as well as the wounds that the abuse leaves behind.
