This work deals with the analysis of existing deficits in the management of owner-occupied properties by non-property companies, particularly focusing on the analysis of cost structures, the impact of real estate on corporate value, and the development of a value-oriented optimization approach for corporate real estate used as office space. Initially, the terms used in this work, such as Corporate Real Estate Management and Facility Management, are differentiated from other management disciplines and defined.
