Product details

What does the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein have to do with right-wing politics? Was his philosophy anti-dogmatic, theory-hostile, and conservative? And why can he then be described as an anarchist? How can the head of a rabbit contribute to gaining new meanings of the terms freedom, justice, or power? The answers to these questions are all the more interesting since he neither explicitly expressed a political opinion in his works nor felt called to position himself as a political philosopher. If one examines his philosophy more closely, starting from the systematically-atomistic early work, the Tractatus logico-philosophicus, to the descriptive Philosophical Investigations, it becomes clear that it offers no less than the possibility of a foundation for a political philosophy relevant to current political discourses.
