This study focuses on identifying existing measurement systems available on the market and evaluating them both technically and economically, in order to provide the industry with a suitable overview of measuring devices from qualified manufacturers. Additionally, possible optimization solutions in the field of climate technology are described through the use of an energy monitoring system. The framework conditions of this study are: 1. Analysis of the representation in the data center: Description of the current situation and presentation of already existing savings potentials. 2. IT management systems: a) Highlighting the possibilities for planning IT power consumption using configuration tools. This includes the accuracy of load simulation and the assembly of servers. b) Presentation of energy monitoring systems based on the possible distribution of measurement points starting from the low-voltage sub-distribution.
