Product details

The social media widely used in the private sector also present significant potential for companies. In particular, the way communication is conducted is fundamentally changed by social media. In an agile project environment, the focus is on flexibility and an iterative approach. This aims for better performance, a higher degree of innovation, and increased value for the customer, despite reduced management effort. However, this inevitably requires a greater need for communication, which is why enterprise social software gains particular importance in agile project environments. The study investigates the use and effects of enterprise social software in agile project environments through a laboratory experiment with 24 master's students. One hypothesis regarding communication efficiency is examined in this context.
