Against the backdrop of dwindling resources, the importance of nanoscale materials is increasing. Thinner layers with reduced material consumption, new properties due to scale effects in the nanometer range, and smaller conductor paths not only reduce energy and material usage but also minimize waste disposal. In pharmaceutical research, after the development and discovery of new active ingredients and their direct receptors in the body, the focus is shifting towards a more holistic approach that also considers the pathway of the active ingredient in the body: the dosage form is gaining significant importance. Nanoscale containers are intended to maximize efficacy while minimizing the amount of active ingredient used, ideally reducing side effects. The production of new nanoscale hollow sphere materials for use as drug carriers is presented here, featuring new formulations with Doxorubicin.
