This book presents the most comprehensive empirical longitudinal study of sexual offenders to date. The term "dissexuality" is introduced, which for the first time allows for the characterization of socially dysfunctional sexual behavior independent of its legal assessment. Data from a life-course analysis of 302 sexual delinquents who were assessed for the first time enable the assignment of the biographical significance of dissexual behavioral tendencies to various typological descriptions of offenders across all crime categories (incest, exhibitionism, rape/sexual coercion, pedophilia).
