The various water type-specific sampling methods are addressed, starting from planning through to the actual implementation, quality assurance, and evaluation of the test results. In detail, the sampling of groundwater, raw and drinking water, mineral and medicinal water, from flowing waters, from standing waters, from bathing waters, from seawater and brackish water, from precipitation, as well as from cooling and wastewater is described.
