"Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" is one of the most famous tales of Oriental literature. Due to its immense popularity, the classic has not only been adapted multiple times in literary form but has also been filmed countless times, staged as a play, and translated into various languages. This book is intended as supplementary literature for Arabic learners. The first part of the work contains reading passages with comprehension questions in German and Egyptian Arabic. The answers to the comprehension questions are provided in the second part, the key. The work is completed with a third part, the vocabulary list (German/ phonetic/ Arabic). The narrative is simply structured, clearly designed, and illustrated with numerous images. This allows readers to read, understand, and individually expand their basic vocabulary independently.
