This compilation aims to demonstrate how Rudolf Steiner builds a bridge between faith and knowledge by developing a modern concept of angels. In the present, the experience of the interaction between humans and angels is increasingly perceptible in our conceptualization: How do we think of 'angels'? How do we view ourselves 'angelically'? Where does the course of my life touch the lower sphere of its possibilities and where the higher? Within the tension between yesterday and today, the Gospel and new spirituality, the selected texts thus emphasize three points; they aim to sensitize the reader to three qualities related to humanity: thinking creatively about angels as a concept, feeling the subtle influence of angels in everyday life, and seeing angels as a perspective for development both in one's own being and for others.
