These two volumes gather one hundred partially fragmentary transcripts from member lectures, drawn from the extensive collection of unpublished lectures by Rudolf Steiner, covering the early years of the theosophical work from 1903 to 1906. The great thematic diversity demonstrates how Rudolf Steiner drew from his own sources, apart from traditional teachings, and opened up a new access to Western esotericism for the membership. Although the transcripts do not match the completeness and quality of later stenographic records, the notes still convey an impression of the content density and richness of this early teaching activity.
