Two couples spend Christmas in a remote house in the Franconian Forest. Each has their hopes: While Hella wants to finally talk to Christian about her needs, he is already planning the separation. Viviane tries to cope with her grief over the forced sale of her family home, but her boyfriend Torsten only sees it as a useful financial boost for himself. However, things are not as they seem, and each person's expectations for Christmas turn out to be deceptive.
