A completely normal village in Germany: a roundabout in the middle, the Volksbank next to it and the onion festival in September. But not everyone here can fit into the village fabric - Timo, Valerie and Richard have been outsiders since birth. When gradually more and more young people across the country disappear without a trace, leaving big gaps in their families, they set out to find the missing. The lives of the three have always been special, but they have no idea what they are setting in motion with their search.
