Agnes, Ida, Max und die anderen
German, 2018Product details
On April 21, 1945, just a few days before the end of the war, six people were killed in a small village in Lower Austria, five of whom came from various South Tyrolean villages. The reason for their murder by the National Socialists was that they were considered disabled, non-productive individuals who relied on public support and were therefore deemed to be "eliminated." This conference is held in memory of them and other South Tyrolean victims of Nazi "euthanasia." Among them are Agnes, Ida, and Max, after whom the event is named. They were 6, 8, and 13 years old when they died in Kaufbeuren, Bavaria, as a result of tuberculosis experiments.
