One hundred years after Janko Messner's birth, his work serves as a reservoir of Carinthian Slovenian experiences. His writings encompass not only literary texts but also journalistic, political, and essayistic works, as well as screenplays, translations, and letters. In this book, which serves as an interface for text, image, and film sequences, they are presented as valuable documents of a multilingual region, allowing for the reconstruction of not only cultural but also political historical lines.
