Since the immune system is weakened by a taxing treatment, these harmful cells can spread even more. However, this can be avoided, according to Lebedewa, if a holistic approach is taken. One important fact must not be overlooked: only the body's own defense can detect and eliminate cancer cells anywhere, even in the most remote organs. Therefore, the immune system must never be weakened.
