Driven to Distraction (Revised)

Groundbreaking and comprehensive, "Driven to Distraction" is a lifeline for the approximately eighteen million Americans believed to suffer from ADHD. Now, the bestselling book has been revised and updated with current medical information for a new generation seeking answers.

Through vivid stories and case studies of patients—both adults and children—Hallowell and Ratey explore the various forms ADHD can take, from hyperactivity to daydreaming. They dispel common myths, offer helpful coping tools, and provide a thorough overview of all treatment options as well as tips for dealing with a diagnosed child, partner, or family member. Most importantly, they focus on the positive aspects that can accompany this "disorder"—including high energy, intuition, creativity, and enthusiasm.
