Coach and yoga instructor Ulrike Reiche demonstrates how small, scattered breaks can be integrated throughout the day. These breaks significantly contribute to maintaining our health and approaching life with greater calmness. According to recent studies, about one in four employees forgo work breaks. Among those who work more than 48 hours a week, it is even one in two employees. Often, employees find themselves in a tension between personal needs for recovery and high performance goals, risking overexertion or even illness. In contrast, an actively designed recovery break is the best remedy against burnout and other stress-related illnesses. Just a few minutes are enough to do something beneficial for one's health. The predominantly meditative exercises help individuals consciously relax and actively calm themselves in stressful situations.
