A stolen whiskey bottle, a corpse, and a dark secret. The Edinburgh jazz band "Dalmore Jazz" has had their lucky charm stolen, an old bottle of Dalmore whiskey. The suspicion falls on Kyle Saunders, an obsessed fan from America. Since the police cannot prove anything against him, the band hires private investigator Rowan Lockhart to find the bottle. Shortly thereafter, Kyle Saunders is murdered. Rowan, who has already determined that the entire band is hiding something, digs deeper into their past and crosses paths with someone who must prevent their secret from being discovered at all costs.
