At dusk the hedgehog leaves his sleeping place. Now it is time to look for snails and go to the hedgehog woman. He runs across the meadow, along the fence - and that's when Lena discovers him. "You needn't be afraid, hedgehog", she says, "you'll be fine with me". Lena throws her jacket over the hedgehog, wraps him in it and takes him home. But the hedgehog is not at all comfortable as a pet. I wonder if Lena really knows what a hedgehog needs.
