Danger in the Rioja. German reporter Henry Meyenbeeker finds himself caught in the conflict between a large Spanish winery and a young, dedicated cooperative. When his informant Jaime Toledo, the oenologist of the cooperative, dies in a car accident, Henry becomes alarmed. However, no motive for a possible crime can be found. The deeper Meyenbeeker digs, the more adversaries he creates. Friends turn into enemies, and strangers suddenly lend a hand. Is it about wine or bodegas? Is it about power or something entirely different?.
