Murder on the Dike: Fredenbüll in North Frisia has three dikes, 176 inhabitants (including a noble family), 600 sheep (organic!), baker Hansen, the hair salon Alexandra, the pub "De Hidde Kist," a fire department, and a police station with Police Chief Thies Detlefsen. However, the small station is threatened by budget cuts from the Kiel Ministry of the Interior, and Thies is doing everything he can to keep the crime rate in the district high. He suspects militant eco-activists behind every dead sheep, and when it comes to illegal parkers, he sometimes assumes they are suicide bombers. But then organic farmer Brodersen is found gruesomely injured in his own combine harvester. At the same time, the wife of insurance agent Ketels disappears without a trace. Is the peaceful Fredenbüll a hotspot for brutal crime?.
