The Viennese Richard Gerstl was one of the most important artists in Vienna around 1900, alongside Klimt, Schiele, and Kokoschka. Although he only lived to be 25 years old, he created an exciting and unusual body of work. 'You' showcases the artists and their era in a retrospective at Kunsthaus Zug in spring/summer 2022 and describes the connection from Richard Gerstl to the Viennese art scene up until the 1960s, when the so-called Viennese Actionists discovered Gerstl's painting for themselves.
