The labor market is a current and, for the foreseeable future, still an important topic for economic policy and research. Due to the significance of this issue, the Working Group of Berlin-Brandenburg Economists, founded in 1997, chose the topic of the labor market for its first workshop. In addition to the expert audience, the interested public should also be informed, including media, political parties, associations, and ministries. The supplementary booklet "Labor Market" contains, in addition to a brief introduction in which Michael C.
