Product details

The Criminal Law Treatises - New Series were initiated in 1957 by Eberhard Schmidhäuser in collaboration with German criminal law professors, following the series established by Hans Bennecke (1896 to 1942). Their aim is, like that of their predecessor, to ensure appropriate publication of outstanding works by emerging scholars in criminal law. The series includes excellent dissertations and habilitations on criminal law, criminal procedure law, and criminal theory. In 1986, Friedrich-Christian Schroeder (Regensburg) was appointed as editor, and in 2007, Andreas Hoyer (Kiel) took over as a co-editor following the passing of Eberhard Schmidhäuser. Inclusion in the series is based on the recommendation of a criminal law professor.
