It can be observed time and again how imperfect today's economy is in relation to the principles of our social and economic order. The essential contradiction between practice and principles lies in the fact that the economic apparatus, with all its institutions and organizations, has gained too much power and independence, and therefore largely dominates the economic citizen, the "civilian" of the economy, instead of serving him modestly and appropriately. This misunderstanding between the economic apparatus and the civilian is not only an economic issue but also a general societal and cultural problem. This book attempts to present the contradictory constructions of today's economy and the ideologies that the powerful in the economy have spread over them from a perspective beyond economics.
