Foreign direct investments are not only a focal point of interest in the academic discourse surrounding international management, but they also involve developments relevant to practice that have a high demand for current relevance. This collected volume includes contributions on this topic that were presented at the annual conference of the scientific commission "International Management" held in Vienna in 2007, organized by the Association of University Professors for Business Administration.
