Product details
The goal of Supply Chain Management is the integrated, cross-company design of goods and information flows. In consumer goods supply chains, the term Optimal Shelf Availability is discussed in relation to integrative measures. This raises the question of a stronger alignment with the behavior of end consumers. Based on the conceptual clarification of Optimal Shelf Availability, Tina Placzek develops design recommendations for integrative logistics concepts in consumer goods supply chains. She systematically develops integrative solutions for managing goods and information flows while considering the different response patterns of end consumers. She verifies the resulting recommendations for action through an empirical study of two exemplary consumer goods supply chains.
