The book "e-Business and Telecommunications" presents a collection of the best contributions from the 5th International Conference on e-Business and Telecommunications (ICETE), which took place in July 2008 in Porto, Portugal. This conference aims to promote the dissemination of current research findings in the fields of e-Business and telecommunications. ICETE brings together four significant areas of knowledge, which are divided into corresponding conferences: ICE-B (International Conference on e-Business), SECRYPT (International Conference on Security and Cryptography), SIGMAP (International Conference on Signal Processing and Multimedia), and WINSYS (International Conference on Wireless Information Systems). The conference featured outstanding presentations from internationally recognized researchers who are experts in their respective fields.
