How do young people pray in an era dominated by social media? What do they pray for, considering that they seem to have everything in our affluent society? And do young people even pray anymore? The students of a project seminar from the upper grades at St. Ursula Gymnasium in Würzburg attempt to provide answers to these questions through their own prayers. With reflections on everyday life as well as inspirations related to the church calendar, they offer a completely new blend of authentic and thoughtful texts. In addition to the typical concerns of students, the prayers and meditations also address topics that are not found in common collections: Carnival, Facebook, sports, and the environment. Thus, there are texts for many life situations that resonate with young people in their diverse life worlds. A fresh, surprising, and thought-provoking mix of modern prayers.
