Product details

Miko Peled is a peace activist who dares to speak truths publicly. He was born in 1961 in Jerusalem and comes from a well-known family of Jewish-Zionist activists. His grandfather, Dr. Avraham Katsnelson, was a leader of the Zionist movement and one of the signers of the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948. Miko Peled is the son of Israeli General Matti Peled, who, in 1967, forced the consequential war of Israel against its neighboring states Egypt, Jordan, and Syria by threatening to resign. It was this war that led to the occupation of large Arab territories and thus to the current impasse. In the last decades of his life, Peled's father Matti vigorously advocated for reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians and for a just peace based on equality.
