Should we regulate rules with children or better yet, create rules for children? There are voices calling for children to establish their own rules. Are adults then mere spectators on the sidelines of the children's world? What if children cannot reach a consensus? Can adults help in that case? Or are they even obligated to intervene? What happens when established rules are violated? Who then takes what measures? Questions about dealing with rules and conflict resolution accompany our daily lives, and every parent and educational professional is desperately seeking solutions. However, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Each child, every situation, and the environment demand their own unique solution, which can vary greatly. This is done in collaboration with children, parents, and educational professionals from kindergartens, after-school care, primary schools, and secondary schools.
