Planning with children is something many parents and educators do. However, upon closer inspection, they realize that they are not planning with the children, but rather for them. Today, it is crucial for everyone to be able to plan and structure their own lives, considering multiple options if necessary. During childhood, the most important foundations for later life are established, and even in adolescence, our children should master independent planning in the face of diverse academic demands and the job market. Neuroscientists emphasize the importance of early acquisition of cognitive and physical skills that children will need in adulthood - thus, the groundwork for language skills and interconnected thinking is laid during preschool age in the process of self-education.
