Part-time pilot Merle, who flies for a small charter company, is tasked one evening with flying the attractive but seemingly arrogant businesswoman Joanna to Hamburg. Despite Joanna's brusque and dismissive demeanor, she hires Merle for a second time and eventually offers her a position as her private pilot. However, this is just the beginning, as Merle becomes increasingly involved in Joanna's business - much to the chagrin of Vassiliki, Joanna's business partner. When Merle, hopelessly in love with Joanna, is accused of embezzlement one day, she must start fighting for her feelings for Joanna and her own reputation, as Vassiliki resorts to increasingly ruthless tactics to get rid of Merle.
