A family reunion like no other in a long time. Even the youngest son, Peter, who has been missing for five years, reappears. He brings along the beautiful Oriana and her son Ibrahim. Stuck in their own worldviews, shaped by their way of life, the sons destroy the last semblance of a bourgeois (petty-bourgeois) family. Soon it becomes clear that it's less about the mother and more about the inheritance. The question of inheritance brings them together: "We are simply what the world needs - and it needs us as we are." Mother's expectations, of course, were different: "That's not how one thinks, that's not how one acts." And she admonishes her Paul: "You should show that you are more than a puppet of the market!" With the announcement of a world trip, she astonishes everyone: she will take what she owns to where it is needed, where it can be more useful than merely increasing comfort. Grotesque and comical, entertaining and pointed - oh, family! Even though it was intended for the theater, it is certainly enjoyable to read.
