Whether they are dust collectors, knickknacks, souvenirs, randomly found items, meaningful art, or things that are revered with seriousness and deep emotion, these objects create a peculiar narrative of their owners about themselves - not in words, but in things. Rosa Schamal has been pursuing her fascination with insignificant objects, which, when displayed, reveal their sometimes banal, sometimes touching effects, for quite some time with her camera. Peter Schneider outlines in his essay various ways to better understand the implicit order of these small things.
