Because sheet music is the most appropriate form for music on paper, this publication is a songbook. However, since almost no band performing at Bad Bonn records their music in the form of sheet music, it is an extraordinary songbook that also appeals to non-musicians. The 25th anniversary of the concert venue Bad Bonn is the occasion for this publication. Over the course of two and a half years, the performing artists were asked to bring one of their songs to paper. Just as diverse as the music styles and personalities that visit Bad Bonn, so too are their creations: from sheet music, drawings, song lyrics with accompanying guitar chords, to photographs, everything is included. Additionally, the contributions showcase the creativity of these musicians from a perspective that is not captured on stage or in recordings.
