The Norwegian Rolf Jacobsen (1907-1994) published fifteen volumes of poetry and is considered one of the most important lyricists of his homeland. His style and themes evolved significantly over the decades, ranging from early texts celebrating technology and the metropolis to philosophical, introspective poems and touching love poetry for his wife. As the only Norwegian, he was featured in Enzensberger's "Museum of Modern Poetry.".
