Product details

The idea of employee equity participation (EEP) has a long-standing tradition. Recently, it has garnered increased attention from politicians, practitioners, and scholars. However, this societal and political interest is met with the employee, who ultimately remains an "unknown entity" – the existing knowledge about the perspectives, motives, and expectations of employees regarding EEP is limited. Instead, various political and societal actors construct more or less normative models of the "employee." The plausibility and legitimacy of these actor constructions are derived from their reference to semantic guiding differences in the description of economic events. In this book, the authors conduct a semantic secondary analysis of the existing literature on the topic of EEP.
