Sven Brauer's first cookbook was created in an unusual place: in prison. During a nearly two-year sentence at the Fuhlsbüttel correctional facility, the Hamburg artist illustrated the successful cookbook "Chicken in Handcuffs," which gathered various recipes from fellow inmates. After his release, Brauer specialized in illustrating cookbooks. With quick strokes and sometimes using food itself, such as instant coffee, he creates his outstanding graphic works, which can now be seen in his new book "Big and Small Fish."
