Michael Reinhardt worked for nearly four decades as a renowned fashion photographer in Paris and New York. His images appeared in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Times, Elle, Life, Esquire, Sports Illustrated, Revlon, Estée Lauder, L'Oréal, Calvin Klein, and many other magazines and publications. During his countless travels around the world, he always took the time to capture his personal images (Just what I saw along the way...). This resulted in a multitude of black-and-white and color photographs. He referred to it as street photography. The present book brings together images from over 30 years up to 2003. These images have nothing to do with his work as a fashion photographer and aim to tell a different, much broader story through their visual language. Reinhardt wanted to present them without any prejudices, without intending to provoke or criticize, and without any political motive.
