This new exercise book on Spanish grammar complements the Practical Grammar of the Spanish Language by Wolfgang Reumuth and Otto Winkelmann, also published by Gottfried Egert Verlag. The book offers advanced Spanish learners numerous exercises covering all important chapters of Spanish grammar. In addition to fill-in-the-blank, substitution, and transformation exercises, German-Spanish translation exercises of varying difficulty occupy a significant portion of the book. Translations require learners to focus not only on a single language difficulty but also to consider multiple grammatical phenomena. To aid navigation, exercises with a higher level of difficulty are marked with an asterisk. The references provided at the beginning of each chapter relate to the sections of the Practical Grammar of the Spanish Language where the relevant grammatical phenomena are discussed in detail. This way, the grammar material can be studied or reviewed in a coherent manner. A key for self-study is available separately.
